A few met up on the club moorings on Friday evening when the scene was set for the weekend with a number waking up on Saturday a little worse for wear, Colin blamed Richard but to be fair, Colin brought the bottle of Rum! A bring your own BBQ followed by a singalong and a quiet night's sleep.  Saturday morning greeted us with glorious sunshine and a reef tempting south westerly. Hustler was first away making the most of the tide available with a good beat towards Horning.  Most stopped for lunch at Cockshoot dyke with Hustler 3, Evergreen and Mischief enjoying a sun-baked Blackhorse broad.

The afternoon was mainly spent motoring towards Wroxham mooring north of the bridges, Hustler 3 did stop at the nature reserve to take a wonderful walk.  Well worth a visit.  It was an early moor up because the girls wanted to get ready after some cocktail preparations while some of the boys checked out the beer at the Kings Head. We had been joined by both Rosie and Pinkers who couldn't make it Friday evening.  Cally also joined the group for a short while bringing David's kippers ready for Sunday breakfast.

Everybody got dressed up in their finery.  It is amazing what you pack into a broad's yacht.  Didn't we all look great. We caught the 6pm train from Wroxham making for Gunton arriving some 23 minutes later.  We were pleasantly surprised to be joined at Worstead station by John and Suzie who had emailed the leader the day before to tell me that they were coming but when I am on the boat, I don't do emails!  After crossing the road, we were also joined by Dr Tom who had come by road for a quick drink.

We had 3 tables of eight sat outside in the rear garden under cover (this was useful as we did have a down poor despite Jimmy telling us that there was less than 5% chance of rain.

Cocktails and a generous amount of tapas were enjoyed.  Richard and Sally had decided to walk to the Vernon Arms in South Repps some 25 minutes away which is also a great little hostelry if ever in the area.  The Suffield Arms is a very interesting pub and well worth a visit, the decor and pictures are very different and not what you expect.

We walked back over the lane to the station to catch the 9.30 back to Wroxham.  Another group from Norwich were also there to catch the same train.  It was incredible that a station in the middle of nowhere in North Norfolk was packed, there was standing room only on the return train.  Some went to bed and some stayed up talking dribble.

After a trip to Macdonalds, or kippers on board people stared to make their way back home.  Some stopped off at Cally and Joe's for coffee.
