RIGGING OUT SUPPER REPORT

After a cold wet winter of boat maintainence it was nice to catch up with old friends at the rigging out supper which was again held at the Ranworth Village Hall.
This being my first time of organising I was overwhelmed by the help I received setting up and decorating the hall. There was a good turnout of both longstanding and new EACC members.
As always the efforts made by members to provide food were much appreciated by all. Skipper ran a magnificent bar keeping up standards with his silver ice bucket and tongs! I’m sure we will all look forward to seeing how he can raise the bar any further on the southern rivers cruise.
I would like to personally thank Jo Edye for his amusing quiz. He gave us all some tongue in cheek insights into how we should be preparing for the season ahead.
I’m sure we are all looking forward to being back on the water and another season of sailing and social fun.
